As interim Creative Director at Grill’d, I led the in-house creative team to deliver a year of brand-building work that helped return Australia’s healthy burger restaurant to growth.

‘All Taste, No Regrets’ was the brand platform that drove everything. A nod to the rebellious heritage of Grill’d, and born of a tension at the heart of every customer - the desire for something indulgent and delicious, without compromising on nutrition.

We relaunched the nugget that Aussies prefer to all the others.
This set a new standard for product photography with bold, clean, beautiful imagery and playful copy.

All Taste

I created a new content platform based on a simple and repeatable premise: if it’s on our menu, there must be an interesting reason why. Episode 1 was all about our new, Hi Fibre, Lo GI buns and the family that make them.

Tone of Voice

All Taste, No Regrets informed our tone of voice across every touchpoint.
No asset was too small that we couldn’t get a touch of Grill’d sass and playfulness in there.
A joy to write, this also made our business as usual campaigns much more effective.
